TAE40110 Certificate IV Training and Assessment

The original TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment was reviewed by the National Quality Council (NQC) in 2010 and upgraded to reflect new workplace standards and best practice. The upgrade resulted in the new qualification TAE 40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, replacing TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment as the qualification required for all trainers to deliver nationally recognised courses.

This new qualification provides educational leadership skills and training for people working in public and private educational settings or other workplaces such as vocational/ workplace trainers and assessors. This course is ideally suited to Enterprise Trainers and Assessors, RTO Trainers and Assessors, HR Managers,Training Advisors, Learning Managers and Vocational Education Teachers.

This course is for people who are:
•Employees required to develop skills in the delivery of training and assessment programs;
•Industry professionals interested in training others in their field of expertise, including VET training areas;
•Corporate trainers interested in using nationally recognized workplace training models;
•Trainers and Assessors wishing to upgrade from previous BSZ401098.

The TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is the current industry requirement for anyone responsible for competency based training program design, development, deliver and assessment in the national Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.

Course options

1. Full Cert IV TAE course is an 11 day, three part program, incorporating ten units. Please download the Cert IV TAE Brochure for more information or view our training calendars for scheduling options.

2. Individuals may also choose to enrol in the Enterprise Assessor Skill Set BSZ Upgrade as a single course or may continue on to complete the full Cert IV TAE qualification. People wishing to undertake the BSZ upgrade are required to undertake Parts 2 and 3 of the Certificate IV TAE Training Program.

3. Transition from Cert IV TAA to Cert IV TAE as a one day workshop.
